Robert Pattinson made his 2012 Cannes Film Festival entry (his first appearance at the fest since 2009) on the red carpet for the premiere of partner Kristen Stewart's On the Road . He has his own project, Cosmopolis, to promote at the glamorous festival, but it looks like he's showing support for Kristen's work first. She was up early with her costars Kirsten Dunst, Garrett Hedlund, and Tom Sturridge for a photo call this morning after many of them arrived in the South of France last night.Both he and Stewart are expected to join his co-stars and the Cosmopolis filmmakers on the red carpet for the film Friday as well.
Both films are in competition for this year's Palme D'Or festival prize
Robert Pattinson was looking sharp in his tux as he climbed onto a boat awaiting outside the Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. His luxurious mode of transportation was taking him to nearby Cannes, where he joined girlfriend Kristen Stewart for her On the Road premiere this afternoon. The Hotel Du Cap is one of the most popular celebrity hotspots to party and stay at near all the festival action, but we'll have to see where Rob and Kristen choose to celebrate their big night
