Billy Burke lands a role in 'Freaky Deaky'

In Twilight, and in several projects before it, Billy Burke ("Charlie Swan" in the Saga) portrays a police officer. There's just something about his wholesome face that lends itself to that sort of role. Usually, too, Burke plays a "good cop." That's not to say, of course, that he hasn't dabbled in characters of evil during his career (his latest, Drive Angry 3D and even Red Riding Hood, exemplify that) . . .

Still, the latest piece of casting news to come down about Burke follows the same tradition. According to Variety, Billy Burke has landed a role in Freaky Deaky.

Starcam caught up with Billy Burke on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet a couple of weeks ago and quizzed him about what he likes about The Twilight Saga. Billy told Starcam that he loves Charlie for the simplicity and common sense of the character and he loves being a part of something that people really love and pay attention to.
