'Twilight' Time Capsule Launches Online

Interactive online community allows fans to come together to share 'Twilight' content.
Want one place where all your "Twilight" memories can live? Well, Summit Entertainment has launched the "Twilight" time capsule as the go-to destination for all things Bella, Edward and Jacob.
The launch comes a month before "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" hits theaters on November 18. The time capsule is an interactive online community where fans can relive all the great moments from the Stephenie Meyer-penned franchise.

According to a press release posted on The Hollywood Reporter, the site is a place where "fans can commemorate and share content with each other, and relive any moment in 'Twilight Saga' film history."

Fans can generate their own user content for the site, as well as view a timeline that includes memories and trailers from the releases. "The 'Twilight' time capsule brings them all together in one place for all fans to enjoy together," "Twilight" star Nikki Reed said in a video about the site. "Now you can commemorate your personal memories forever and become a part of 'Twilight Saga' history."

This isn't the only way to get caught up on all things "Twilight." There will also be "Twilight" re-release events kicking off in November. The re-releases begin November 1 with the first flick in the franchise, 2008's "Twilight." "Twilight Saga: New Moon" (2009) will open on November 8, and last year's "Eclipse" opens the following week on November 15. Ticket information and a complete list of theaters hosting the events can be found at the Fathom events website.

It's not over just yet, however. The last "Twilight" flick, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," directed by Bill Condon, hits theaters on November 16, 2012.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Countdown: A Look at Twilight's History at the MTV Movie Awards

Laura Byrne-Cristiano co-owner of The Twilight Lexicon, the longest continuously operating Twilight Saga fansite on the web has written the article on Movies.com

One thing that every Twilight fan embraces is loving our franchise for what it is. In other words, despite some potshots from various corners of the Internet, the fans know that we aren’t talking Academy Award winning material here when it comes to the screenplay and acting. The thing is though, that’s fine by us because we’re cool with what it does offer us: escapist fantasy, romance, and enough washboard abs to scrub our laundry on for a year…not that I ever fantasized about doing that or anything.

I suspect fans of traditionally male-dominated franchises feel much the same way about what their beloved series offer. They also have the escapist fantasy, but those washboard abs are usually replaced by female body parts slightly more north. Really, we aren’t so different in the end. Fortunately for all of us, there are actually awards shows that embrace both heart-stopping kisses and break-neck car chases. The MTV Movie Awards that aired on June 5, 2011 gave us our latest fix.

The Twilight Saga franchise has come a long way since its first appearance at an MTV awards show. Back in September 2008, before Twilight hit the big screen, several cast members attempted to promote the soundtrack band Paramore at the MTV Video Music Awards. It didn’t go so well with host Russell Brand cutting off Robert Pattinson before he could finish the band’s intro. Flash-forward to the Spring 2009 MTV Movie Awards, and it was a whole different story. Twilight had everyone’s attention as the number seven movie of the year, Robert Pattinson’s face was plastered on everything from bed sheets to glitter, and no one was cutting anyone from Twilight off.

The Best Moments from the MTV Movie Awards

Next Movie gives us their highlights from the show :

Jason Sudeikis’ Hangover
Mike Tyson, a tiger, a monkey and a wild face tattoo, or Taylor Lautner, a spray-painted swan, Eva Mendes and, well, a wild face tattoo … who had the better hangover, the “Hangover” movie crew or Movie Awards host Jason Sudeikis in his show-opening “Hangover” spoof? We’ll give the slight edge to Sudeikis, if only because he made a Justin Timberlake “Bye, Bye, Bye” joke that should not have been as funny as it was.

Jason Sudeikis on Team Bella

There's one thing that Jason Sudeikis probably won't do when he makes his debut as host of this year's MTV Movie Awards.

"I probably won't get naked," the Saturday Night Live funnyman told me earlier today during a break from rehearsing for Sunday's big show. "But if there's one thing I learned from Justin Bieber, it's 'Never say never.'"

Nudity and Bieber aside, Sudeikis will likely be cracking plenty of Twilight jokes...
So how many Twilight jokes have you prepared?
We're whittling it down from about 4,000.

Did you have to study up on things like Harry Potter and Twilight for the show?
I knew a little bit more about Harry Potter, having read some of the books and seen a couple of the movies. As for Twilight, having a lot of younger cousins, I'm quite familiar with it, and because Taylor Lautner hosted SNL...But as for the minutia of it, I had to dig in a little deeper.

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney loves Twilight

Mitt Romney loves the Twilight Saga books and “American Idol,” the Republican presidential hopeful reveals in an interview on “The Today Show.”

After discussing his fondness for The Beatles and other classic rock, Romney opens up about being an “Idol” fanboy.

“This year with Scotty [McCreery] winning, that was terrific! That guy’s got talent!” gushes Romney.

The former Massachusetts governor also has a soft spot for the supernatural.

“I like silly stuff, too, I like the ‘Twilight’ series, I thought that was fun,” says Romney, although he’s quick to add, “I don’t like vampires, per se. I don’t know any.”

Sadly, Romney doesn’t reveal whether he’s Team Jacob or Team Edward.

'Twilight' fans are on Team Meyer

When Stephenie Meyer walks into a room of Twilight fans, there's no doubt she's their undisputed vampire queen.

Ten lucky Twilight fans from around the world have come to this metropolitan Canadian city to meet the mega-selling author whose young-adult novels about an alluring vampire and his human soul mate have entranced them since 2005.

It's hard to say who's enjoying this total Twilight talkfest more — the attendees or the writer.

"I just love having the chance to sit down with a small group of fans," says Meyer, who is looking a little more Hollywood these days and a bit less like a suburban mom of three. "Bigger events are just too nerve-racking."

For this literary star, the days of chatting with a few fans at a local bookstore are over. Meyer is an international celebrity. Her books sell in dozens of countries. The film versions are hotly anticipated. Fan sites have gone viral. This two-day chat fest with Meyer, which took place last Friday and Saturday, was a top-secret affair. Even the attendees weren't told where in the world they'd be meeting with Meyer until after they were notified they were among the chosen 10.

But every Twilight fan intuitively knows why Vancouver, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, is a logical meeting place — the cast and crew of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2, the final movies based on the four-book series, have been filming here since mid-February.

'Twilight' liplock is 'the kiss that makes your blood rush'

To prepare for ABC's two-hour "Best in Film" special which debuted yesterday, the network released a montage lead-in for their "Best Movie Kiss Ever" category, and the kiss between Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in 2008's Twilight was included as "the kiss that makes your blood rush."

'MTV First: Robert Pattinson': Five Memorable Moments!

 As Published by MTV
All this week, in preparation for 'MTV First: Robert Pattinson' — the 30-minute live chat with the superstar, which aired tonight — we counted down our all-time favorite RPattz MTV moments. Turns out when it's someone like Rob, who practically churns out memorable moments and quotes at every turn, it's not that easy to do.
Now, once again we are faced with the dilemma of picking which parts of our evening with Rob we liked the best. After much deliberation, and OK, multiple viewings, we finally came up with our picks for the five most memorable moments. Check them out after the jump!

The Elephant Man

Not since Bart Simpson met Stampy has there been a connection between a lad and a pachyderm quite like Robert Pattinson and Tai, the elephant featured in, well, "Water for Elephants." Turns out, if it hadn't been for Tai, Rob may not have been in the movie at all, as he admitted the hulking beast was a huge determining factor for the actor taking the role. During the interview, Rob talked about how intimidated he was by Tai's, um, acting career? "She's done way more movies than I have," he admitted. It seems Tai, who was featured in the 2010 Oscar-nominated documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop," made some of the other, er, actors nervous on set. "The [other] elephants are a little intimidated by her," Rob said. "She's very famous in the elephant community." But Tai clearly had no qualms about being around famous folks like Rob and Academy Award-winner Reese Witherspoon. As Rob recalled, one day on set Tai let loose the "most incredible fart into Reese's face...Like a hurricane. Thunderous."
