Henry Cavill is new Superman, almost starred in Twilight

British hunk Henry Cavill has been cast as the new Superman, Warner Brothers announced Jan. 30, 2011.

Cavill, 27, became famous for playing Charles Brandon on the hit Showtime series The Tudors from 2007 to 2010.

Hits the Gym Daily For Shirtless Scenes

The athletic 6'1" Henry, a former rugby player who retired due to injury, loves sports and has to work out regularly because he gains weight easily.

“I’m from a family of six men, so I’m bound to be physical,” Cavill has said.

"I don't go to the gym every day, but I'll tend to blast it for a couple of weeks before a shirtless scene."

Lost Twilight Role to Robert Pattinson

When it comes to film roles, Henry's biggest competition has been other British actors.

Cavill lost the role of Batman to Christian Bale and Spiderman to Andrew Garfield. He was also edged out for the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight by Robert Pattinson.

Interestingly, Henry was Twilight author Stephenie Meyer's top choice to play Edward, but film execs thought he looked too old to play a 17-year-old high school student.

The new Superman film, which will be directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan (director of Inception and the Batman films), comes out in December 2012.

Other roles Henry is believed to have been passed over for include the lead in Batman Begins (which went to Christian Bale), Cedric in 2005 Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (which went to Robert Pattinson) and James Bond in Casino Royale (which went to Daniel Craig).

'Twilight' stars featured in London 'Most Wanted' exhibit

On Thursday, an art exhibit in London, England opened up at the White Cube Hoxton Square called "Most Wanted."

The exhibit is a series of paintings by Richard Phillips, who told The New York Times his series was inspired by a day on the set of Gossip Girl (one of his paintings was used on the show).
"I was hanging out on set, and it was incredible how these young actors were shaping news,” said Phillips, who is considered something of a modern-day “history painter.” “They would take something from Page Six that was written about the show and then read it into the script. It was what the new shape of pop art can be– this reflexive mirror of culture."

Three Twilight stars are among the chosen subjects for this gallery, including Robert Pattinson ("Edward Cullen" in the Twilight series), Kristen Stewart ("Kristen Stewart"), and Dakota Fanning ("Jane").

Photos of the gallery and the opening are attached in the slideshow. Note that Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine (which contributed the song "Heavy in Your Arms" to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's soundtrack) was present for the opening.

"Most Wanted" will remain on exhibit at White Cube until March 5th.

Sam Bradley Mentions Robert Pattinson In An Interview With Buzzine

SG: So your musical beginnings were friends and family-based, and then so were your first big steps out into wider acclaim—outside London, out into the world, with your schoolmate Robert (Pattinson)…
SB: It’s still all friend-based. I don’t work with anyone that isn’t a friend. My band, my booking agent, my manager… Everyone I want to work with, I want to have a relationship that is stronger than just work. As far as the connection with Rob, he’s a friend—that’s it. There’s no special story. The special story is in our friendship. That’s it. There’s nothing grand about it. I got a song on this Twilight soundtrack—that opened up a bigger audience than I was ready for, perhaps, and then it was up to me to keep the music-lovers, and expand and grow on and through and past and with that.

SG: I can’t let you go and not go back to Rob for one final question, but I don’t want to get you into any trouble…
SB: You can’t get me into trouble. I can get me into trouble.

SG: Good point. But I’ll try not to lead you into any trouble.
SB: That’s fine, because I can deflect. I’ve been doing it for years.

SG: I bet you have. You’ve been mates for a long, long time. As surreal as life must be for him, which is up way up there, you have seen that from one step removed, and you have a sense of what that means as you’re an artist on the road connecting with people as well although maybe not quite to the “Beatles running down the street in ‘Help’” thing that he’s been going through. What does that leave you thinking? From what you’ve seen from him, what impact does that have on you? Does that end up being a blessing—you get to see how that can be from a pseudo-safe distance?
SB: If I thought about it and if I dissected it in any way, that wouldn’t be a healthy thing. It just is. There’s no difference in anything I do. There’s no difference in anything he does. There’s no difference in anything any friend I have, whether it be my wife… It just doesn’t make a difference. I’m gonna keep doing what I’m gonna do. Robert Pattinson is going to keep doing what he’s gonna do. Tom Sturridge is gonna keep doing what he’s gonna do. Bobby Long is gonna keep doing what he’s gonna do. Marcus Foster is gonna keep doing what’s he’s gonna do. Angus McNeice is gonna keep doing what he’s gonna do. Anyone I know are gonna do what they’re gonna do, and that’s not changed anything.

Holliday Grainger On Her Character in Bel Ami: "She's An Evil Little Witch"

Grainger talked to Collider about her role as one of the women Georges Duroy romances in Bel Ami:

Can you talk about the roles you did in Jane Eyre and Bel Ami, which you also have coming out this year?

GRAINGER: When I was younger, I always wanted to do period drama and never got to do it, until last January. And then, this last year was just period drama after period drama. I have a small part in Jane Eyre. I’m one of the Rivers sisters that saves Jane (Mia Wasikowska) from destitution. They’re a very lovely, very godly, very pure family. Bel Ami is the opposite. My character is more like Lucrezia. She’s an evil little witch that knows what she wants and is out to get the guy that she wants. She’s willing to upset her mom and upset anyone, just to get the guy that she wants.

Did you get to work with Robert Pattinson?

GRAINGER: Yeah, my character’s scenes are mainly with Rob ‘cause she marries him in the end. She does get him.

New/Old Volvo for ‘Breaking Dawn’?

How do you all feel about the car used in Breaking Dawn?

In Twilight, Edward (Robert Pattinson) drove a silver C30 coupe. While this wasn’t what Stephenie Meyer had chosen (she actually picked the S60R), the Twilight coupe was close enough to the book’s description to melt into the storyline.

Then, in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Edward’s “stupid shiny [silver] Volvo” became a smoke gray SUV, the XC60 Crossover.

Since The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was filmed before New Moon came out, the same car was used during production before fans really got the chance to speak up in protest. According to FoForks, the Eclipse SUV was spotted at a car show recently. While it’s not certain this was the Volvo, it was promoted with Eclipse insignia and the like, so it’s not certain it wasn’t. Whether or not it was the car from the movie, it draws up the question – will Breaking Dawn give us a new one?

‘Breaking Dawn’ Cast Heading to Vancouver With Cast Privacy a Priority!

Here is a great article by Twilight Examiner about set security thus far on Breaking Dawn. Head over HERE to read the full article. How to you feel about the tightened security on Breaking Dawn? It is definitely providing for a different fan experience than in previous Twilight movies.

For almost three months now, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been filming – first in Rio de Janeiro, then in Paraty, Brazil, and now in Baton Rouge, Louisiana – and it has been eerily quiet.

While the Brazil set was fairly accessible to fans, visibly at least, almost nothing from the Baton Rouge set has come around outside of vague cast tweets and a few almost-accesses by the local media and fanbase.

That is rather expected, since – as though to warn fans and everyone else to stay away – we were told early on in the process of Breaking Dawn’s production in Baton Rouge that security was both mighty and ready.

According to one source, security is readying in Vancouver to the point of creating a “confinement unit.” Now, we’ve seen photos of the Swan House under construction for days. While there looks to be a fence of some sort, that’s about all that can be discerned from those. If it’s true, though, it’ll make the Vancouver portion of filming a whole new ballgame for the Twilight Saga. With New Moon and Eclipse, local bloggers and photographers were steadily pumping out new information about production. If a confinement unit is in place, whatever that is, that influx of news may be lessened. Which means more fervor flatlining or more privacy for the cast – however you want to see it.

Robert Pattinson's "Water For Elephants" & "Breaking Dawn" Named On Box Office Mojo's 2011 Preview Box Office Mojo lists "Water for Elephants" on their 2011 Preview

While sequels, remakes, comic book adaptations and animated movies will inevitably dominate 2011's box office, there will still be a few hits that don't fall in to any of these categories. In 2009, there was Avatar, The Hangover and The Blind Side, and in 2010 there was Inception. Here's a look at ten of the contenders, including three high-profile book adaptations, a few alien invasion movies, a potential Twilight successor or two and some wholly original wild cards.

Water for Elephants (April 22): It's easy to dismiss Robert Pattinson as just part of the Twilight craze thanks to the poor box office performance of Remember Me last March. However, his next movie Water for Elephants is poised to be much more successful: it's helmed by blockbuster director Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend), has interesting co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz and is based on a reportedly popular book.

Breaking Dawn (Part One) (Nov. 18) follows a trilogy, but one that ended on a high note: with $300.5 million, third entry Eclipse pulled off the rare feat of out-grossing the second entry New Moon. Breaking Dawn returns to the pre-Thanksgiving slot of the first Twilight and New Moon (and formerly Harry Potter), but will have the longest wait yet (17 months). Add in a reportedly mixed fan reaction to the novel and how being broken in two didn't help Deathly Hallows Part 1, and it wouldn't be surprising if interest ebbs for Breaking Dawn

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart – avid bike riders

Despite their busy schedule filming the latest in the “Twilight” series, rumored couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have enough free time to enjoy anew hobby together; biking.

The two have been spotted riding their bikes together around Louisiana when not filming their scenes. An Examiner source said, “I see Rob and Kristen riding around the parking lot almost daily. Recently I spotted Rob riding out of the main studio gates on his bike and the next thing I knew, he was in front of my car at a stop sign, and Kristen was behind me.”

Elizabeth Reaser on Breaking Dawn

Elizabeth Reaser says she's happy that fans know there will be a naked scene between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart after seeing the released picture

WHEN the Breaking Dawn sex scene picture of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart was released we almost wet ourselves with excitement.
And Breaking Dawn actress Elizabeth Reaser (who plays Esme Cullen) says shes relieved that fans know Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will be gettingnaked because it'll keep them hooked on the saga.

She said: "At least everyone knows: OK, people are naked, just in case the frenzy was dying down, just in case no one cared, here’s a naked picture of Rob and Kristen."

Elizabeth says she feels sorry for Rob and Kristen and all the media attention they receive, but says it's "a price you have to pay".

She added: “It’s a complicated situation. If you’re going to be an actor and you don’t want to do dinner theater and you want to do movies like this, it’s a crazy risk."

“I know for me, you want people to watch you tell stories. There’s some part of you that is somewhat of an exhibitionist… I’m not saying you want people to chase you down the street screaming and attacking you, but it’s a price you have to pay, I think."

But Elizabeth also feels for Twilight fans and says they’re not saying goodbye just yet!

She said: “We have so far to go that it doesn’t feel like we’re anywhere near the end. Plus we’re going to promote these for a few more years, you know. So we’re nowhere near the end.”

EW.com: 15 Hot Movies of 2011

EW.com has listed “15 Hot Movies of 2011″ and the list includes Breaking Dawn, of course, but also some other ventures from our Twilight gang!

RED RIDING HOOD (March 11) [Catherine Hardwicke]

This is not the fairy tale you remember. In this telling, Amanda Seyfried is the heroine Valerie, whose village is being terrorized by a werewolf that goes on to kill someone close to her. A hunter (Gary Oldman) stokes the villagers’ paranoia, while Valerie is in a love triangle with the man her parents want her to marry (Max Irons) and the one she really loves (Shiloh Fernandez).

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS (April 22) [Robert Pattinson]

”To have a costar who is this reliable, this sensitive and circumspect and intelligent — it’s just fabulous,” says Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds). He’s not talking about Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson, who play the star performer and veterinary student in an adaptation of Sara Gruen’s best-seller about a traveling circus in the 1930s. He’s talking about Tai, a 9,000-pound Asian elephant.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2 (July 15) [Jamie Campbell Bower]

The final Harry Potter film brings Daniel Radcliffe’s titular boy wizard nose-to-snake-snout with Ralph Fiennes’ villainous Voldemort in a wand duel to the death. ”It’s very much an action film,” says producer David Heyman. ”Part 1 was more akin to a road film. Part 2 is all about the destination.”

THE HELP (August 12) [Bryce Dallas Howard]

Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Sissy Spacek, and Octavia Spencer (former roommate of the director, Tate Taylor) all star in this adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s hit 2009 novel about the enmeshed worlds of African-American maids.

BREAKING DAWN: PART 1 (Nov. 18)

Even if you don’t know each plot twist and turn from the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series, every self-respecting Twihard is aware that Breaking Dawn features Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) becoming vampire man and wife and sharing a marital bed for the first time. ”Finally!” laughs director Bill Condon. ”It is one of the most anticipated scenes, and I spent a tremendous amount of time thinking about it. You want to play with what people expect and maybe subvert it a little and surprise them.”

Paul Giamatti Discusses Working With Robert Pattinson in ‘Cosmopolis’

MTV caught up with Paul Giamatti who discussed his upcoming film with Robert Pattinson. I love Paul Giamatti and am so excited to see he and Rob work together! Head over to MTV to read the full article. See the video below!

After Giamatti, who stood with his “Win Win” costar Bobby Cannavale, admitted he was “not sure” when production on “Cosmopolis” would come together, there was one thing that was certain: he’d get to work with the “dreamiest man alive.”

“I get to stalk him,” a deadpan Giamatti said of getting to work on a set with R-Pattz. While Giamatti (who also divulged to MTV about his part in the highly anticipated “Hangover 2″) said he hasn’t yet met Pattinson he claimed (though quite possibly tracing the slightest hint of sarcasm there) to have seen the “Twilight” films.

As Pattinson explained to MTV News recently, he signed onto the project “basically because of Cronenberg.” “I said yes as soon as he called,” he added. “It’s scary, though. It’s an interesting script.”

“Cosmopolis,” based on the novel of the same name by Don DeLillo, is about a billionaire asset manager (Pattinson) who has a very bizarre day in Manhattan. Marion Cotillard was originally set to play Pattinson’s wife in the film, but has since dropped out of the project. Kiera Knightley is now being rumored to take over the part.

Glamour: Child Stars All Grown Up

Glamour UK has a feature on their website about child stars, then and now. It includes several members of the Twilight cast.

Robert Pattinson, 2005
Awkward, gangly and in need of a Hollywood polish, R-Patz BT (Before Twilight) was yet to secure his place upon a million teen’s bedroom walls (and the GLAMOUR.COM office walls, for that matter).

Robert Pattinson All Grown Up
Now we’re talking! A well-cut suit, a little hair gel, a spot of manly stubble…be still our beating hearts.

Dakota Fanning, 2001
Awwww! How china doll-like is a seven-year-old Dakota? The teeny star hit the red carpet for the first time following her role in drama I Am Sam. The film made Dakota the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award. She also won the Best Young Actor/Actress award from the Broadcast Film Critics Association for her performance. Impressive, no?

Dakota Fanning (nearly) All Grown Up
She’s still only 16, but Dakota has notched up a whopping 20 movies – including The Runaways and The Twilight Saga. What’s more, we’re totally jealous of this teen’s wardrobe!

Kristen Stewart, 2002
A 12-year-old K-Stew makes her red carpet debut at the premiere of her first major motion picture, Panic Room. And bizarrely, the starlet looks less awkward and uncomfortable here!

Kristen Stewart All Grown Up
Now a fully-fledged Hollywood goddess and style icon, 20-year-old Kristen flaunts the enviable bod and legs a’ heaven that supposedly bagged her GLAMOUR.COM’s reigning Sexiest Man Robert Pattinson. Jealous, us?

Taylor Lautner, 2005
Before Jacob, there was ’Sharkboy’. A ten-year-old Taylor attends his first LA premiere for breakout role in The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl in 3-D – and shows off the martial arts moves and irresistibly cute good looks that caused Rolling Stone to dub him “the popular kid, jock, or bully in any movie.” No mention of ‘werewolf’ mind…
Taylor Lautner All Grown Up
Now 18 (and therefore, it’s OK to fancy him), a shirt-shy Taylor is better known for his impressive physique and brooding good looks.

Shiloh Fernandez talks about auditioning for the role of ‘Edward’

Shiloh Fernandez was revealed by Catherine Hardwicke to be one of the final candidates for the role of Edward Cullen before Robert Pattinson was given the role. In the latest issue of VMAN Magazine, Shiloh (who also co-stars with Ashley Greene in her film Skateland, and is the star of Hardwicke’s latest film Red Riding Hood) discusses auditioning, and, ultimately, losing out on the role.

On missing out on the role of Edward Cullen: “No one had any idea what Twilight would become. At the time, it was just another audition. I didn’t realize I was missing out on stardom and giant paychecks. Now, looking back on it, I certainly wouldn’t have been mentally stable enough to deal with all that. Lucky for me, not getting that part led to other work that was a much better fit for me.”

On his experience working on Red Riding Hood: “To be given this great part with this very complicated backstory is such a learning experience. And [director Catherine Hardwicke] has created this world that’s so detailed and so beautiful. I loved being a part of it.”

Kristen Stewart Eyed For 'Snow White And The Huntsman'

There have been many, many actresses offered the titular role of Snow White in "Snow White and the Huntsman," an upcoming action flick from Universal. First Saoirse Ronan, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were offered the part, then Riley Keough (you know, granddaughter of Elvis Presley) was thought to be in the lead. Suddenly Universal changed their minds and decided they wanted to go with a relatively unknown actress (like Felicity Jones or Alicia Vikander), but still there are reports that "Sucker Punch" star Emily Browning tested for the role this weekend.

But apparently, Universal really wants Kristen Stewart. According to The Hollywood Reporter, KStew is the actress that Universal keeps coming back to to portray the fairest of them all. And since she hasn't booked any films for after "Breaking Dawn," this might be the project for her.

Universal is still on the hunt for their Huntsman, though. At first it was supposed to be either Tom Hardy or Johnny Depp, but when both of them passed it seemed that "X-Men: First Class" actor Michael Fassbender was the man for the job. But THR is also reporting that he has passed on the project, and that Viggo Mortensen entered negotiations to play the role on Wednesday.

Fortunately the process for finding the film's evil queen Ravenna has been a bit less complicated. After Angelina Jolie passed on the project, Charlize Theron picked it up. Even though she hasn't signed the paperwork yet, Charlize has stuck with the role for three months, so we hope she doesn't decide to drop it now.

An updated take on the Brothers Grimm tale, "Snow White and the Huntsman" follows Snow White after the evil queen Ravenna calls upon Eric, the huntsman, to try to kill her (think: the beginning of the Disney version). Eric, who is haunted by the death of his wife by a white wolf, goes off to kill the innocent princess but then has a change of heart. He decides to mentor her and teach her to fight off Ravenna, thus turning her into a total badass. The two of them won't serve as love interests (she still has her prince), but apparently they will be chained up to each other for part of the film after they escape a pair of bounty hunters.

Robert Pattinson & The ‘Breaking Dawn’ Vampires Wild Boys’ Night Out Without Kristen Stewart! Exclusive!

Rob and cast mates including Jamie Campbell-Bower, Jackson Rathbone and Kellan Lutz party it up with some dinner and shots in Baton Rouge during a break from filming!
They may be hard at work filming Breaking Dawn in Louisiana, but it looks like the Twilight boys are still finding ways to blow off steam! In what may be one of the biggest cast assemblages yet, HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively that Robert Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Jamie Campbell-Bower, Michael Sheen and a few of the other male cast members enjoyed a night of sushi and shots at Tsunami in Baton Rouge Jan. 25. Sadly, it looks like no girls were invited!

A source inside the swanky restaurant says, “The boys got there around 9:30 pm and sat at a table, there were about 15 of them. They stayed until closing, sometime between 11:30ish or midnight. Rob sat next to Jamie and was pretty low key in a hoodie!” A Cullen fraternizing with a Volturi?! Scandalous!

“A girl from a nearby table ordered them a round of lemon drop shots, and the bartender took it with them,” the source went on to say. “Rob was really nice and introduced himself to the bartender and seemed really happy and down-to-earth.”

The popular eatery, located inside the Shaw Center for the Arts, was also an affordable choice for the boys with most entrees under $20!

The cast headed home afterwards, save Jackson and Kellan, and sadly it seems like the evening left Jamie feeling not so great! The actor tweeted Jan. 26, “Yup. Raw fish and red wine came back to bite me on the arse. X.” Ouch!

It appears that it was back to work for the cast Jan. 26 in Baton Rouge — perhaps to film that wedding scene after two straight days of rain!

Let’s just hope that if Rob and the boys got a night out, Kristen and the girls — and Taylor Lautner for that matter — did the same!

Anna has been working on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” as of late along with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

Part one of the film is about the Quileute and the Volturi as they close in on expecting parents Edward and Bella, whose unborn child poses different threats to the wolf pack and vampire coven.

"Kristen Stewart inspires me," she said. "I respect her for being true to herself, not conforming or doing what people tell her. She deals with the fame really well."

Henley went on to say that she does not consider the increased scrutiny that comes with celebrity to be a negative factor in her life.

'Breaking Dawn' Star Mackenzie Foy Gets Props From Onscreen Grandmother

'This is far too quick!' Elizabeth Reaser says of having a 'granddaughter.'

PARK CITY, Utah — Of the onslaught of new castmembers that have come onboard for the two parts of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," the young actress who everyone seems to be most interested in is newcomer Mackenzie Foy. The 10-year-old actress might not be old enough to truly grasp the OME-level of excitement that playing Renesmee, the onscreen daughter of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, should generate, but she certainly has made quite an impact on her co-stars.

Elizabeth Reaser, who plays matriarch Esme Cullen, was at the Sundance Film Festival when MTV News caught up with her and asked her about working with Foy. Reaser had nothing but wonderful things to say about her newest family member.

"She's wonderful, and she lives across the hall from me in Baton Rouge, and she's a wonderful, great actress," Reaser said. "She never complains about anything. She's so professional about everything. She's such a sweetheart."

Obviously, Foy was cast not only for her acting ability but also for her resemblance to the movie's stars.

"I think it was really well cast between Rob and Kristen. She could be their kid, you know? She looks like that," Reaser said, laughing about the fact that Foy, who is 25 years younger than her, is playing her grandchild. "This is far too quick!"

In October, Stewart said she hadn't had a chance to meet Foy yet, though that has obviously changed by now. She said that she didn't know anything about Foy until "Breaking Dawn" director Bill Condon called her up.

"[He] was like, 'Wait until you see this kid. If you and Rob had a kid, this would be it,' " she told MTV News. "I was like, 'That's so weird.' She just looks like — she sort of looks like Bella. Which is absolutely right. Although the funny thing is she has green eyes, and we both have to wear brown contacts together."

Robert Pattinson In Buckley Biopic Is “Funny” Says Producer

The past few days have seen some pretty ridiculous music movie stories circulating, which should serve as a general reminder to bloggers everywhere of a rule that you can’t forget: if the story sounds too good to be true and originates from the British press, triple check your sources. Especially when it’s an old rumor.

Making the rounds recently was a report from UK paper The Daily Express that Robert Pattinson was going to play the late singer Jeff Buckley in an upcoming biopic. The quotes originated from an unknown Hollywood insider and worse, this rumor isn’t even new—it first popped up back in 2009. We reached out to one of the producers on the gestating film who told us “I did see [the U.K. report], it’s pretty funny.” So sorry, RPatz lovers, he won’t be crooning “Hallelujah” on your prom night anytime soon.

MTV Newsroom : Rob Pattinson as Jeff Buckley would be “Excellent”

With the rumors floating around of Rob’s interest to play the late Jeff Buckley, MTV Newsroom gives their opinion that Rob as Jeff Buckley would be a case of “excellent casting”.  Here’s what they had to say:

Buckley, who passed away in 1997 before he could complete his second album, is a much-beloved artist whose debut album Grace is largely considered to be one of the finest of the end of the 20th century. His music was full of gorgeous melody and dynamic energy shifts that centered on his incredible, gentle voice. Though 1994’s Grace is a stone cold classic as a full album, Buckley’s lasting legacy in music is his version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” which has been copied repeatedly and is largely considered the definitive version of the song (even more than Cohen’s original).

Pattinson would make an excellent Buckley, as not only does he physically resemble the singer, but he also possesses the same kind of ethereal vibe that Buckley carried. His popularity was mainly rooted in his music, but he also had a mysterious quality that made him a fascinating character. Can Pattinson sing as well as Buckley? There’s no evidence to suggest that he can. However, it seems like the man who breathed life into Edward Cullen can handle the moody, romantic vibe that Buckley gave off. Take a look at this performance of “Forget Her” (recorded during the Grace sessions but not released until 2004) and see if you can’t picture Pattinson sliding into that role.

Charlie Bewley on Mackenzie Foy and Edward/Bella honeymoon photo

Charlie Bewley chatted with E! Online’s Marc Malkin at Sundance about what he thinks of Mackenzie Foy, who plays Renesmee in Breaking Dawn, and his thoughts on that racy still that has been released of Edward and Bella on their honeymoon.

“I imagine if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a kid it’d be like this grungy…awkward and shy kind of thing,” jokes Charlie Bewley, who plays Demetri in the vampire movie franchise.

Kidding aside, Bewley called Mackenzie a “beautiful little girl.”

“She’s a little ball of energy that one,” he said.

I caught up with Bewley yesterday at the Sundance Film Festival as he checked out the running shoes in Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift’s Puma Lounge. He jetted to Utah from Baton Rouge, where they’re filming Breaking Dawn, for the premiere of his upcoming flick Like Crazy.

Bewley insisted he still hadn’t seen the Edward and Bella sex scene photo that was recently released by Summit Entertainment.

“It’s the sex scene?” he said when asked what he thought of the picture. “Really? They’re smashing around?! Shut the front door. I haven’t seen it…but I’m definitely going to check it out.”

I love Charlie for saying “Shut the front door!” Well, I love him anyway.

Breaking Dawn Update: Is the “Wedding Scene” being filmed?

According to a report from HollywoodLife, they believe that “Bella” and “Edward’s” wedding scene may be in the process of being filmed, and here’s why :

The massive outdoor set and green screen in Baton Rogue’s Arsenal Park seemed like a perfect fit forBreaking Dawn’s epic final fight, but it seems like it may in fact be for something entirely different —Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s wedding scene!

Seeing as Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen were spotted in Baton Rouge all last month, it is safe to assume the final scene has finished filming. It would not take that long to film and as the scene takes place only in the Cullen’s yard there would be no need to use another location.

Sealing the deal however is the fact that actor Michael Welch (Bella’s friend Mike Newton) tweeted,”I’m off to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to work on a new film called Baking Nan.. wait, that’s not it- It’s called Raking Lawns.. No, hold on…”

As fans know Mike is present in only one Breaking Dawn scene — Edward and Bella’s wedding. It COULD be a different set than Arsenal Park — some have suggested they could just be doing promotional shots — but that seems ideal for Edward and Bella’s nuptials!

Razzie Nominations: The Last Airbender and Twilight: Eclipse Lead With 9 Nominations

Here is what Moviefone has to say about the Razzi Nominations this year.

I’m cynical and sarcastic enough to get behind a tongue-in-cheek “worst of the year” awards presentation, but there’s never much amusement to be found in the annualRazzie nominations. Their picks seem to be either A) high-profile “fish in a barrel” nominees, or B) a bunch of movies / movie stars that are bad, sure, but are mainly popular enough to generate some fan-based outrage — and therefore more attention for the Razzies as a whole.

For example, as goofy as the ‘Twilight’ films are, they’re nowhere near as wretched as, say, ‘Jonah Hex,’ but “Twilight Razzie” will get 10 times the traffic as “Jonah Hex Razzie.” Then they nominate the same flicks 11 times. And yet here we are, sharing their goofy nominations with you anyway. (My own commentary, as a massive expert on terrible films, will follow in italics)

Worst Picture
‘The Bounty Hunter‘
‘The Last Airbender‘
‘Sex and the City 2‘
‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse‘

Elizabeth Reaser Scared By Kristen Stewart's Transformation

The Twilight Saga is coming to an end, with around 4 months of filming left to do on Breaking Dawn, the final instalment of the successful franchise.

And one of the most exciting parts of the story is Kristen Stewart's transformation from mortal Bella Swan into a vampire.

Her co-star, Elizabeth Reaser revealed to MTV News: “There's been some really cool stuff in the Cullen house, with Bella.

“There's been some interesting transformations happening.”

Of the transformation, Elizabeth admitted: “She scared me a little bit on Thursday, I'll be honest with you.

When asked in what way, she said: “Cos', you know when vampire are newborns they are stronger than any other vampires and for a second there I thought, this might not end well, you know.

"She's looking pretty pissed right now. It was great."

ROBERT PATTINSON AIMS TO PLAY HERO'S TWILIGHT DAYS

VAMPIRE heartthrob Robert Pattinson is looking to get his teeth into a challenging new role as folk legend Jeff Buckley.
The brooding 24-year-old British actor wants to put bloodsucker Edward Cullen behind him when the Twilight saga comes to an end and has set his heart on depicting his musical idol.

Buckley drowned in 1997 in Memphis, Tennessee, aged 30 and immediately became a cult figure.

A Hollywood insider said: “Rob is obsessed with this project and is doing everything he can to land the part.

“He has already told his business team this is his passion and they agree it could be the film that makes him a legitimate Oscar contender.”

The film’s producer Michelle Sy said: “I’ve met actors who are keen on the part and Robert was one.”

His main rival for the role is thought to be the American actor James Franco, who will co-host the Oscars next month. Other actors tipped to take Buckley’s role include James Marsden, who played Cyclops in the X-Men films, Blue Valentine star Ryan Gosling and Johnny Depp.

Mary Guibert, 62, the dead singer’s mother, said: “Robert is a fine young actor. I’m flattered he’s been linked to this project. When the time comes we’ll give everybody an opportunity to be seen and heard.”

Pattinson, who has written songs for the Twilight saga, hopes this will give him an edge over his rivals.

Ms Sy said: “The actor must be able to play music and sing, or at least make it believable he can do that. Until we start auditions there’s no way we know who’s best for the part.” Filming could begin next summer.

Who Should Play Rob’s Wife In “Cosmopolis”?

A new article in UpandComers.net offered up a few suggestions. Here’s what they had to say :

Robert Pattinson is still looking for a wife. First it was Marion Cotillard, then Keira Knightley attached to play the young, mysterious wife to his Eric Packer in David Cronenberg’s “Cosmopolis”. Now Knightley’s involvement is back in question as Alfama Films website  has removed her name from the film’s page, after an internet firestorm was set off proclaiming she was on board based solely on their inclusion of her name in the first place. Truthfully, though Pattinson would be lucky to work with such great talents as Cotillard and Knightley – and who knows, Knightley might still sign on after all – they always seemed a little out of the league of “Cosmopolis”, which would cast them in the supporting role of a mysterious wife.

However, should her involvement with the film fall through, here are a few young actresses we think could jump into the role, and truthfully, who would have a lot more to gain from doing this film than the much more established Knightley would.

Abbie Cornish
This Aussie is not just ethereally beautiful, but is quite a talented actress to boot, earning raves for all her projects from Australian indie “Somersault”, “Elizabeth: The Golden Age” to 2009′s “Bright Star”, her most renowned role to date, in which she portrayed Fanny Brawne, the lover of poet John Keats. She’ll next be seen scantily clad and kicking ass in “Sucker Punch” and bringing another historical figure to life, as Wally Winthrop in “W.E”. With her delicate features and ability to transition smoothly between modern and period dramas, she has all the ingredients to bring Elise’s refined, mysterious presence to life.

Bella Heathcote
Delicate features and large eyes? Check and check. Another Aussie, Heathcote is still an unknown stateside, but is racking up role after role, making good use of her winnings from the AFI Heath Ledger Scholarship, awarded to her in 2010 for the purpose of moving to LA and pursuing a career in Hollywood. Starring opposite Pattinson and for director Cronenberg would be a great solid step forward for this up and comer, and would add to her already impressive upcoming slate of films: from Andrew Niccol’s “Now” to “Cogan’s Trade” with Brad Pitt and maybe even that other delicate beauty, Snow White.

Clemence Poesy
This delicate French flower has already worked with Pattinson before, in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”. Everything about her, from her looks to her voice, is light and airy and it would be easy to see her almost disappear into thin air in front of Packer’s eyes. She has starred opposite Colin Farrell in “In Bruges” and continues to portray Fleur Delacour in the “Harry Potter” series and was most recently seen as James Franco’s one-that-got-away in the Oscar favorite “127 Hours”. She’s now in the running  to play an ancient Greek princess in “Wrath of the Titans”.

‘Abduction’ Still Shows Taylor Lautner Protecting Lily Collins

Lily Collins is easily one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood, and we’re pretty it’s largely guilt by association seeing as all of her upcoming male costars are studs! First, she stars alongside exciting—albeit older—men like Stephen Moyer, Cam Gigandet and Paul Bettany in “Priest.” But let’s look a bit further down the road. In September (so far away!), Lily will go on the run with “Twilight” hottie Taylor Lautner in the thriller “Abduction,” and word on the street is that Alex Pettyfer might play Jace Wayland opposite Lily’s Clary Fray in the upcoming “City of Bones” adaptation.

It’s nice to finally see how these two work together as a couple. I’m going to go so far as to say Lily is Taylor’s most evenly matched costar in terms of looks and ability (sorry, KStew and Taylor Swift). Granted, we only have a slightly out-of-focus still to go on, but I totally buy the two of them together.

InStyle Exclusive: Experts Plan Bella’s Wedding

InStyle.com talks with the experts about Bella and Edward’s Breaking Dawn wedding! The professionals discuss the wedding details as written by Stephenie Meyer in the book, and then the specific decor/accessories/clothing.

The Invitations
THE INSPIRATION: “Edward lay next to me and held my hand. ‘August thirteenth?’ he asked casually after a few minutes of comfortable silence.”
—Bella, in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

THE EXPERT SAYS: “This design captures the essence of Bella and Edward: dramatic and passionate with a hint of dark elegance. It incorporates a variety of printing techniques and materials, making it both complicated and harmonious, like their relationship. The color palette symbolizes the chemistry between them: red is passion and a nod to the vampires, while espresso is mysterious and gold represents luxury and elegance. Their relationship is so unique, their invitation had to match!”
—Ceci Johnson, founder and creative director, cecinewyork.com

The Wedding Bands
THE INSPIRATION: “I didn’t realize I was crying until it was time to say the blinding words. ‘I do,’ I managed to choke out in a nearly unintelligible whisper… When it was his turn to speak, the words rang clear and victorious. ‘I do,’ he vowed.”
—Bella, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

THE EXPERT SAYS: “Bella’s ring is romantic but unusual; the ornate gold vine design (with 372 white diamonds!) matches her complex personality. Edward’s band is a mixture of gold and hidden rubies, which evoke his secret powers.”
—Neil Lane, jewelry designer, neillanejewelry.com
