Rob's Interview with WeltOnLine- German Press

WeltOnLine He has been in Berlin. At that time, Robert Pattison 17th "Everything was different," he says. And does not mean the city. At that time, he could still move unrecognized through the streets. Now he promotes the Hotel de Rome in his new film "Water for Elephants". And outside besieged countless fans of the "Twilight" / "Bis (s)" films Bebelplatz.

Welt Online : When you woke up this morning, did you know there, in what city were you?
Robert Pattinson : Honestly? I had no idea. And that happens to me quite often lately.

Welt Online : You jet off for years by the world. Make yourself at home or anywhere at all?
Pattinson : I do not even have one at the moment. My parents have cleared my room in London, so I'm without a permanent home. That's what I'm going to work. Hopefully.

Welt Online : If you had the choice, where would you like to wake up?
Pattinson : There is a country house in southern France, where I've been a few years ago. There was nothing in the area, because I was all for me. That would please me well.

Robert Pattinson’s Midnight Dinner Date In Berlin — Without Kristen Stewart!

Robert Pattinson is quite possibly the hardest working actor in Hollywood, but it’s not all work! The 24-year-old actor hit up Bocca di Bacco, an expensive Italian restaurant located in the heart of Berlin on April 26, ahead of the German premiere for Water For Elephants. HollywoodLife.com spoke to a source who reveals that even though Rob was spotted without his girlfriend Kristen Stewart, that “he really enjoyed his evening.”

Rob ate pasta with his five friends, which included a mystery blonde on the eve of the big premiere. Our source says Rob enjoyed a bottle of red wine from Tuscany and stayed until midnight! But once they learned that 40 fans were waiting outside, Rob and his guests exited through a private exit. They were spotted getting into their black SUVs.

Our source says that no fans came up to the table and there was security protecting Rob from a distance. It turns out Rob was incredibly humble and didn’t have the attitude most big stars have when eating at a high-end restaurant. Our source describes Rob as “really nice and easy going,” and that he was just “relaxing” before the premiere.

Right before flying to Berlin, Rob was re-shooting his honeymoon scenes for Breaking Dawn with Kristen in St. Thomas. Rob landed in Germany solo with only his bodyguard in tow. Even though absence makes the heart grow fonder, we hope these two can get together again soon!

First Look at the Twilight Finale!

Fans have waited years to see Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot, and the wedding scene, scheduled for the end of production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, proved to be equally climactic for those involved. “It was one of the coolest things that I’ve done,” says Stewart. “There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.”

No Breaking until Dawn! Twilight's Kristen Stewart slips into bikini to film love scenes with Robert Pattinson during night shoot

Nobody likes doing overtime.

But when Robert Pattinson was told that he had to re-shoot scenes for the final Twilight movie at the weekend, he probably yelped with joy.

The 24-year-old was flown to the Caribbean, for starters, and once there, his 'toil' consisted of filming love scenes with his real life girlfriend Kristen Stewart, 21.

It was all meticulously covert in a bid to prevent the hotly-anticipated scenes between their characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan from being observed.

Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene Finish Filming for ‘Breaking Dawn’

While we thought filming was finished last week for Breaking Dawn, it clearly wasn’t quite there yet. All of the Cullen Siblings have been back up in Vancouver and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were just filming in the Caribbean, but Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene are now letting us know that they are done. Peter and Ashley took to twitter tonight to let all of their fans know that their part in filming Breaking Dawn is indeed over. Check out more from Peter and Ashley below:

Robert Pattinson sees hard times for Kate Middleton

Robert Pattinson thinks life is going to be "hard" for Kate Middleton after she gets married to Prince William.

The brunette beauty is to tie the knot the prince on Friday in the most highly-anticipated wedding in recent years and the 'Twilight' star says he has lots of sympathy for her because she's going to be under so much pressure once she becomes a member of the British Royal Family.

Does 'Water For Elephants' Prove Robert Pattinson's Box-Office Draw?

Experts discuss what film's $17.5 million debut means for the 'Twilight' star.
After the "Twilight" franchise made him a household name (at least among families' more junior members), Robert Pattinson's first cinematic outing outside the vampire franchise didn't go so well. "Remember Me" received largely negative reviews last year and stumbled at the box office, ultimately grossing less than $20 million domestically.

"Water for Elephants," by contrast, largely performed up to expectations this week, reeling in $17.5 million. The sweeping romantic drama was a big test for Pattinson — a major studio flick aimed not at his teen base, but an adult audience. Would this be the project that launched the 24-year-old Brit from Twi-hunk to broadly accepted Hollywood leading man? Perhaps not yet, owing to the respectable but not astounding debut, though industry insiders are calling "Water for Elephants" a much-needed step toward that goal.

Peter Facinelli Talks Breaking Dawn Wedding to EW

EW talked to Peter Facinelli about the current season of Nurse Jackie and Breaking Dawn:

“Anything you can tease to us about it? I hear the wedding scene is grand.
The wedding scene, first of all, was really beautiful. The way the set was decorated, the way they lit it. It’s in the backyard of the Cullen house, and they utilized the space really well. For us as actors, it was hard because it was raining the whole time we shot, but you’ll never see it on film. For us, it was raining and muddy, but on film, it will look beautiful. In the baseball sequence [from the first movie], it rained the whole time, but you can’t tell.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson reportedly spent weekend filming

It sounds like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are having no trouble making time for each other as the two allegedly spent the weekend filming honeymoon scenes for ‘Breaking Dawn.’

The two were reportedly in St. Thomas where they filmed additional love scenes for ‘Twilight,’ states HollywoodLife. It even sounds like Stewart and Pattinson got to enjoy the time alone as they filmed.

However, other ‘Twilight’ stars like Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli were reportedly doing some filming in Vancouver.

The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide Hits Number 1 on Wall Street Journal List

Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide Debuts in Number 1 Postion on the New York Times Best Seller List

Christoph Waltz AMERICAN IDOL Spoof

"Praise, praise! Too much praise!" Christoph Waltz yells at the American Idol judges — one of them is Jennifer Lopez; another looks like Donatella Versace but I'm not sure if that's her or not.

Waltz, as one of the judges in this American Idol spoof as seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, has just had Stefano from Texas (I think) executed because his singing was horrible. Audience members boo Stefano's murder, who's then dragged offstage by two Nazi types with machine guns.

Anyhow, "praise, praise!" is what Christoph Waltz got for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds — in addition to a Best Actor Award at Cannes, a Best Supporting Actor Oscar, and numerous critics awards — while "too much praise!" is what he has been getting for his performance in Francis Lawrence's Water for Elephants. Waltz, in fact, has been accused of stealing the circus show from romantic leads Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson.

Kristen Stewart Will Start Shooting ‘Snow White’ In September!

Kristen Stewart is wasting no time between films. Production on Twilight: Breaking Dawn, which will hit Scottsdale theaters in November, has just wrapped up, and the actress is ready to begin production on Snow White and the Huntsman. The Hollywood Life reported on Friday that production on that film would start in September. Stewart will play the title role of Snow White in the film.

Despite rumors that Kristen Stewart’s movie may be shelved because of the version of Snow White starring Julia Roberts and Taylor Lautner’s girlfriend Lily Collins, we hear from an insider that shooting is set to begin in September.

Rob Q&A with the Chicago Tribune

LOS ANGELES — When many of you think Robert Pattinson, tabloid headlines and all things vampire come to mind. Pattinson, even more than any of the other main actors in the popular "Twilight" movie series, seems to be purposefully creating a body of work outside of his tween following.

This weekend, Pattinson shows that there's a lot more depth to him as an actor than we've seen in his "Twilight" character Edward, as he co-stars with Reese Witherspoon in the adaptation of the best-selling novel "Water for Elephants." When we talked recently, I wondered if there was a lot of pressure on him because of his "Twilight" success.

"I think it's actually a little less pressure. It's a little weird. There's a kind of a strange thing that happened and it's the same thing that happened when I did first did 'Twilight,'" he said. "I'd never heard of the 'Twilight' book series. I didn't know anyone who'd read it. I just kind of did it, so I wasn't nervous at all. Later on, it became this huge thing. With 'Water for Elephants,' again, I'd never heard of the book. … And then, I accepted the part and suddenly noticed people sitting next to me were reading it on three different airplane rides. So I guess I just missed the thing again and therefore also missed the nerves again. Now I just love it. Kind of everything about it. I could really connect to it all."

Q: Not a lot of men connect with the movie so passionately. It's not really what might be called a "chick flick," but it's very romantic and very beautiful.

Robert Pattinson interview with Buzzine

One of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood, Robert Pattinson tries to avoid cameras while continuing his successful acting career with new period romance Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon. The handsome actor sat down with Buzzine and opened up about the difficulties his Twilight success has caused in his life, his concept of love, and working with dangerous animals on this film.

Emmanuel Itier: How was it with working all these wild animals, and has your conception of circuses changed while doing this movie in the sense of how they treat animals?

Robert Pattinson: I don’t really know how circuses themselves treat animals. I know a lot of circuses get a bad name for it, but none of the animals we had were from circuses; they were all film animals and stuff. I know how hard it must be. It must be just ridiculous because it’s relentless…because of the amount of injuries the animals get and stuff. For instance, with the horses -- to teach those horses the tricks that they needed to know, it took months and months and months and months. If one of them goes down, there’s no back-up or anything. It’s going to take another six months to train a horse. It’s so precarious, running a circus so much. But working with wild animals, for me, was one of the things which I thought made the job easier. Even before we started, I was thinking it’s like doing a job where you’re just working with babies all the time, because the babies are going to do their own thing and you just react to the baby. I mean, if you've got an elephant in the scene and the elephant is kind of doing whatever it wants, it’s so easy to play anything because you suddenly have a trunk in your face or something, and then you've got to just make something up. No one expects the scene to be totally perfect because everyone has accepted that these are wild animals, and whatever comes will come. It’s not all like, “The animal's got to hit its mark!” It’s never going to be like that. It made it very a relaxing set, in a weird sort of way.

LA Times Interview With Robert Pattinson

Question: Sorry to hear you’re so exhausted. Can you tell us what your time was like on “Elephants,” with Reese Witherspoon?

Pattinson: It’s easily one of the best experiences I’ve had making a film and it’s by far one of the best experiences in my life. It didn’t even feel like work and a lot of that had to do with Reese. She makes an effort to make it like that. I think she believes that it’s really important to enjoy your work, especially when you have to be there for so many hours every day. I made a great friend out of it.

Roger Ebert rates 3 stars for Water For Elephants

Roger Ebert the famous critic of Chicago Sun times rates 3 stars and gives a positive review for Water for Elephants.
Final Verdict:"This is good sound family entertainment, a safe PG-13 but not a dumb one, and it's a refreshing interlude before we hurtle into the summer blockbuster season.  "

Read here for complete review
There's something endearingly old-fashioned about a love story involving a beautiful bareback rider and a kid who runs off to join the circus. What makes "Water for Elephants" more intriguing is a third character, reminding us why Christoph Waltz deserved his supporting actor Oscar for "Inglourious Basterds" (2009). He plays the circus owner, who is married to the bareback rider and keeps her and everyone else in his iron grip.

The story, based on the best-seller by Sara Gruen, is told as a flashback by an old man named Jacob (Hal Holbrook), who lost his parents in 1931, dropped out of Cornell University's veterinary school, hit the road and hopped a train that happened, wouldn't you know, to be a circus train. Played by Robert Pattinson as a youth, he is naive and excited, and his eyes fill with wonder as he sees the beautiful Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) on her white show horse. The owner August (Waltz) is prepared to throw him off the train until he learns young Jacob knows something about veterinary medicine.

Robert Pattinson Was Suspended From School

We always had Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson down as a good boy but that was before we found out he'd been suspended from school!

However, Rob was suspended for going a good deed and joked that he's “never forgiven” the teacher involved.

Rob made the confession during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, revealing that he was suspended for trying to stop other children from killing snails.

Robert told Ellen: “Everyone used to chuck snails at each other at school and I used to try and save them.

Kristen Stewart Spotted On Set Wearing Wedding Ring! (PHOTOS)

Kristen Stewart is wrapping up filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2, and she was snapped earlier this week sporting some left-handed jewelry.

In real-life romance news, it’s looking like things are getting hot and heavy between Kristen and R. Patz…

'Breaking Dawn' Wedding Day Was 'Wet And Cold,' Peter Facinelli Says

Earlier this week, MTV News learned of an exciting "Twilight" and "American Idol" mash-up between Peter Facinelli and "Idol" castoff Paul McDonald on the "Loosies" soundtrack. Naturally, we couldn't let Facinelli hang up the phone until we addressed another important subject matter: "Breaking Dawn."

Unlike co-star Robert Pattinson, Facinelli has yet to wrap his work on the "Twilight" saga.

"I still have another two weeks of second-unit stunt work, so for me, it doesn't feel quite done yet," he said. "I haven't really had that moment of remorse or blues, you know, the blues of finishing. I'm in the midst of still finishing myself."

Regarding a few key scenes that his co-stars have mentioned — specifically the Taylor Lautner vs. Kristen Stewart fight scene — Facinelli agreed that seeing the much smaller Stewart take on Lautner was entertaining.

"Oh yes, I was there for that," he said. "[It was] very funny. ... But you have to kick his butt a little bit," Facinelli added about the idea of Lautner's character Jacob imprinting on Bella and Edward's daughter Renesmee.

“Although he couldn’t go into too much detail, we asked Facinelli to describe the heavily hyped wedding scene for us.

'Twilight' film studio going after 'Breaking Dawn' photo leaker

As you know, a few weeks ago, several images from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn were leaked to the internet, causing the filmmakers to reach out to Twilight fans with a request not to look at or distribute the images for the sake of maintaining the element of surprise.

Later, Robert Pattinson expressed his dismay over the matter, saying "Twilight fans, punish them. Police your own."

Now, it seems, film studio Summit Entertainment is taking action on the matter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has "filed a lawsuit against ten John Does . . . so that Summit could serve subpoenas and identify anonymous individuals who were distributing photos on Twitter."

Robert Pattinson Reveals He’s Met With Jeff Buckley’s Mom About The Upcoming Biopic

We guess the producers behind the upcoming Jeff Buckley biopic aren’t laughing anymore. Earlier in the year, a report popped up in the UK press that Robert Pattinson was being considered to take on the role of the late singer. When we reached out to one of the producers on the film at the time they denied those rumors saying, “I did see [the U.K. report], it’s pretty funny.”

Well, it looks like there is actual movement happening on that front (though he’s probably just one of a handful of young actors taking meetings). In an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer (via Bleeding Cool) Pattinson revealed, “I met his mom [Mary Guibert] who’s really great.” As for whether or not he’ll get the part, it’s too early to tell. “I don’t know,” he said. “It’s really not up to me. I love Jeff’s music. He was amazing.”

New York Post: On-Screen Chemistry in ‘Water for Elephants’ Was Wild and Fierce

There’s a ton of buzz about Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson’s chemistry in their new film, “Water for Elephants,” out Friday.

But if you’re under the impression this is “The Notebook” under the Big Top, think again: For both actors, the sizzle is between them and Tai the elephant.

“You know how there are just some people that people are attracted to? She’s like that with people and other elephants,” says Kari Johnson, co-trainer of Tai, the pachyderm who plays the movie’s eponymous star. And she had some big shoes to fill, even for an elephant: Rosie, the character in Sara Gruen’s Depression-era novel upon which the movie is based, is a scene-stealer with a nose for mischief who likes to swipe hats, drain lemonade tanks and indulge in the occasional bucket of gin and ginger ale.

Mendel.

Robert Pattinson: On life after Twilight and wanting to be a pianist

When Robert Pattinson insists he is an ordinary guy – it ignores the elephant in the room of his £13million fortune and superstar status.

The world’s most adored film vampire is hot property and could take his pick of Hollywood ladies.

But Robert, 24, is adamant he has not been seduced by showbiz.

In an exclusive interview with The People, the Brit actor talks about fame, Twilight and getting up close and personal with screen beauties Kristen Stewart and Reese Witherspoon.

Running his hand through his hair, heart-throb Robert said: “I really haven’t changed at all. I have all the same friends I had before Twilight.

“So apart from being recognised more, I still live the same life as I did. The only difference is that now people want to photograph me doing normal stuff, which I find surreal.”

Fame arrived via the role of Twilight vampire Edward Cullen. But understandably the actor has been keen to get his teeth into fresh parts – human ones. And we are about to see his warm-blooded side in the new film Water for Elephants.

Robert plays a trainee vet whose world falls apart after his parents die in an accident. His character runs away and finds a new life caring for the animals in a travelling circus.

Newlywed Reese, 35, plays his love interest in the film, to be released later this month.

But the co-star who really fell under his spell was Tai the elephant.

Rob laughed as he recalled: “All the crew accused the elephant of flirting with me.

“It sounds really disturbing – I had a relationship with the elephant. But it was based on candy.

“I’d suck a peppermint for a bit, then stick it on to my body, under my armpits and cover my entire chest and not tell anyone.

“So Tai the elephant would be constantly sniffing me and I’d be like, ‘She just really likes me.’”

The job helped Rob gain a greater appreciation of the huge mammals. He said: “Every time Tai was on set she created an aura of calm.

“You can stand next to an elephant and it seems as though nothing else matters in the world.”

Reese is only 5ft 2ins – so did 6ft 1ins Robert find it hard to stop their kissing scenes looking awkward? He said: “It was easier than I expected with the height difference.

“I’ve got quite bad posture and I’ve got a big, heavy head so it just slumps down and she was in the right spot naturally.”

Rob has an on-off romance with Twilightco-star Kristen Stewart, 20.

Robert Pattinson talks about his ‘secret’

LOS ANGELES—“It’s a secret,” said Robert Pattinson, breaking into laughter. He was just asked to talk some more about the script he is supposedly writing, based on a novel by Lillian Hellmann, as disclosed in a Vanity Fair cover story on the actor by Nancy Jo Sales.

Robert claimed that it was “one of those times when you say in an interview that this is off the record, when you are just really excited about something. She’ll say, ‘Yeah, of course.’”

The “secret” was disclosed in the cover piece but Robert clarified that his screenplay project is not based on one of Lillian’s novels. “It’s just something Lillian Hellman wrote.” Laughing again, he said, “I can’t really say what it is.”

The “Twilight” series star balked at giving more details.

But other than that, he was his usual, easygoing self, quick to be the first one to laugh at himself. In our latest encounter at a meeting room in the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, he played with a water bottle as he fielded questions.

“I used to write a lot more when I wasn’t getting acting jobs,” he revealed. Chuckling, he said, “You dream about writing parts for yourself.”

Taylor Lautner Recalls Kristen Stewart 'Throwing' Him Around On 'Breaking Dawn' Set

Taylor Lautner is a funny sort of fellow. The actor admitted to us during the interview special "MTV First: Taylor Lautner" that he was going to have to "try and hold back" tears on the last day of filming "Breaking Dawn," but when we asked him what his favorite scene to film was, it most certainly wasn't a sentimental one.

While the hottie said it was "hard to choose" which scene he'd enjoyed filming the most over the past few weeks ("There's been so much we filmed," Taylor explained), he ultimately picked one which found him having an intense—and physical—moment with his co-star Kristen Stewart.
Taylor recalled, "Recently we did a scene in the backyard of the Cullen house where Bella gets mad at me. She just learned that I imprinted on her daughter [Renesmee]."

As anyone who's read Stephenie Meyer's final book in the "Twilight Saga" remembers, the amped-up vamp did not take the news lightly, and it seems director Bill Condon had no intention of toning the moment down.
