'Twilight' film studio going after 'Breaking Dawn' photo leaker

As you know, a few weeks ago, several images from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn were leaked to the internet, causing the filmmakers to reach out to Twilight fans with a request not to look at or distribute the images for the sake of maintaining the element of surprise.

Later, Robert Pattinson expressed his dismay over the matter, saying "Twilight fans, punish them. Police your own."

Now, it seems, film studio Summit Entertainment is taking action on the matter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has "filed a lawsuit against ten John Does . . . so that Summit could serve subpoenas and identify anonymous individuals who were distributing photos on Twitter."Anyone who followed last year's leaked photo issue with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will know that the studio initiated a long search for individuals responsible for the leakage of Eclipse images last February. The case was later settled, with the defendant ordered to pay over statutory fines for the infringement.
