'Twilight' liplock is 'the kiss that makes your blood rush'

To prepare for ABC's two-hour "Best in Film" special which debuted yesterday, the network released a montage lead-in for their "Best Movie Kiss Ever" category, and the kiss between Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in 2008's Twilight was included as "the kiss that makes your blood rush."

The Twilight kiss scene has been celebrated quite a few times over the past few years.

Last year, it was included in Los Angeles Times Magazine's "Top 50 Classic Movie Kisses" as well as Portrait Magazine's "Top 10 Movie Kisses." It also won Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart the 2009 MTV Movie Award for "Best Kiss."

It is one of several scenes from Twilight to have garnered this sort of recognition. The infamous "almost-accident" car crash scene in Twilight has also been celebrated as one of Fandango's "Top 10 Romantic Movie Moments" and Moviefone's "Top 25 Movie Moments of the Decade." Twilight's prom scene was chosen as one of Seventeen Magazine's "17 Best Prom Scenes of All Time."
